Moi

**I like to document life… take pictures, write, however I can put a stamp on a moment and say I was there. In this particular story, I play the part of me  – Jesus lover, Jacey lover, Life Embracer…**

I live, work, and play in downtown OKC! (but I’m Groverat & a TEXAS girl til I die)  I have been told I act like every day is Christmas –                        and that may be true…

When you’ve been healed of cancer after being given 2 yrs to live and you have the opportunity to experience the grace of God & His unconditional love as well as other miracles              (like my Jace), the excitement of life can be magnified just a TAD.

I’m pretty positive prone… hate wasting time, passionate to a fault; I like to think outside the box and do anything that involves using my creative juices. I think life is too short for one career or passion, so I dabble in lots of fun stuff!

I seriously have more amazing friends and besties than any girl should ever get in one lifetime.  I’m talkin’ true blues.

God was definitely in a good mood when He put my family together!!  My story begins before me, with momma’s. I’m the oldest of 5 sisters, it’s a beautiful Motley Crue.  Where the broken road turns to beautiful… that’s where you find my family.

My daughter is a ninja, a rockstar, and a comedian all in one – cleverly disguised as a sweet blonde hair, blued eyed little girl.  She hides, she reads, she skates.  She oozes wit & sass.  That child is really something special.  My miracle.  My mini-me.  She’s me – only better.

I believe the greatest quality anyone can have is to be teachable. I don’t ever want to stop learning.  I’m constantly gleaning.
Have life, will LIVE IT:  I want to see, do, and experience as much as I can.  But it’d all be for nothing if I couldn’t help others along the way.  I am the “least of these” – plenty of opportunity to work on that teachable thing… But I don’t regret even the most traumatic times of my life… otherwise I wouldn’t know God in the deep, sweet way that I do or understand so uniquely and intimately His powerful hand, His truly unconditional love, His mysterious ways of making all things good ~ Romans 8:28

Life Verse Passage:
Philippians 3:7-11
But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is… from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

*We’re the kind of folks who will always live right around the corner from something big. ~ Derek Webb (by way of Sarah Reed)
