5 WOMEN WHO INSPIRE ME TO GO HARDER!!! (Not Mariah, but I love this JAM)

To the lady at the gym this morning that started going faster on the helliptical as if we are in a competition – you do not inspire me.  I saw you look at me in my drippng sweat with intention and speed up your machine (and slow it down as soon as I got off).   Crack. Me. Up.

I’m just over here, gettin my CHURCH ON, hand raised, jamming my heart out to some Mariah gon’ gospel (this song has been on repeat all WEEK!)!  Lady, you can go hard on those calories, but can you

forgive?

keep your marriage fire burning?

spend time with your kids on THEIR CLOCK instead of yours?

Can you pray like wildfire blowing up in the lives of others?

Can you study the Word?  What’s your favorite verse?

Can you LOVE the people you work with?  Not just make it rain?

Because these are areas I struggle in and as I get older, I care much more about the stuff that REALLY MATTERS in the end.  And I want to be PUSHED by women who inspire me to do things that leave a legacy that OUTLIVES ME!!!!

So here’s to the women in my life that inspire me!!!  You know who you are!!

1.  To the women that have posted that Francis Chan marriage book you started reading.  THAT IS SO HOT.  That inspires me to be the wife I know is in me and ROCK THIS MARRIAGE THING!!!

2.  To the women who LOVE and raise children that they did not bear.  You guys seriously rock my world.  There are so many of you that I get to know from a distance and others that I get to do life with.  I could not, would not, ever want to live a life where FOSTER CARE and ADOPTION are foreign to me.  Thank you for MOMMING IT OUT.  GOD BLESS YOU. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.  BALLAS ON A BUDGET!!!  I love when I see a fly girl killin’ it to the nines without breaking the bank!  You ladies that KNOW HOW to budget and are disciplined enough to do it – THAT’S HOT! And when you can keep it real with STYLE!  MMMM!!! Yes, it matters – teach your daughters to take care of themselves FOREVER – hair, nails, make-up, skin care – It’s your job mommas!  Take time to teach them or you might wake up to a goth girl and wish you had!  {{**NOT because got his bad – BUT because if your daughter’s first makeup experience is *ANY trend, it will often be seen as a control thing if afterward you attempt to give direction on techniques that bring out their natural beauty.  }} For the wifeys – too many of us LET IT ALL GO after I DO. Please, DO NOT.  For the single ladies – GET. YOUR. OWN.  Ross is your friend ladies.  XO  With that… let’s pause for a Friday swoon jam.  My fav for life..

 

4.  Homeschooling MOMMAS – How do you do it???  I have considered doing a SHORT “spell” of this and the more I learn, the more I admire you.  YOU ARE STRAIGHT UP STAY AT HOME MOTHERS AND TEACHERS.  That amazes me.  Ridiculous sacrifice and selflessness on a whole-notha level. ROCK ON.  And please, share all your wisdom and tips with me, just in case.
